iTunes will be available in Europe at the end of the year

iTunes will be available in Europe at the end of the year.

In an interview given to the french newspaper "Les Echos", Apple's vice president for Europe, Pascal Cagni, confirmed this information.

At the moment, all content have to be re-encoded for the european platform, that is why iTunes is not yet avaible. This task takes a long time.

The vice president has also announced that the iPhone will be ready for the last quarter of this year. The launch will be synched with a new Apple Store opening in Paris!
